Does it get hot like a heating pad?
No. It has no power source, so it never gets hot. It reflects your pet's own body heat, so it feels gently warm once they lie on it.
What should I realistically expect?
The mat won't feel warm on its own when nobody is lying on it. It works by holding in your pet's body heat, so it's best as a cozy layer on cold floors, in crates or on chilly sofas. It is not a replacement for a heated bed in very cold places, and it is not a medical product.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your pet lying down, nose to base of the tail, and compare with the mat sizes. Supplier guidance: S up to 25 lb, M up to 40 lb, L up to 65 lb, XL up to 90 lb. If your pet is between sizes or likes to stretch out, size up.
How do I clean it?
Shake or vacuum off hair regularly. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air dry completely before your pet uses it again. Don't iron it.
Is it safe to leave it in a crate?
Yes, there is no cord or electricity. As with any bedding, check it regularly if your pet likes to chew.
How long does delivery take?
